Ramp Equipment Operations

The course focuses on the development of skills and knowledge required to operate various special equipment on the ramp also called as GSE (Ground support equipment) handling. The course helps the candidate to understand and operate GSC’s in accordance with ramp safety regulations in order to get opportunities both in India & abroad. The GSE’s include step ladder for passengers, tugs for carrying baggage /cargo carts, conveyor belt for baggage and small cargo parcel loading, toilet cart, potable water cart, Main deck loader, Lower deck loader for container loading, ambulift, Air Starter unit, ground power units, APU, Pushback etc.

Key Areas of Learning: Ramp Safety, Safety Management System, Tarmac discipline, Ground Services Equipment SOP, Airport Driving Rules and Regulations, Preparing for Airport Driving Permit Test , Marking and Signage at Airside driving, Weather Condition precaution , Towing limits and restrictions at airside, Fire Extinguisher etc.

Eligibility Criteria

Only Male Candidates
21 years complete
Medically & Physically fit
12th Pass and above (Any stream)
Basic English speaking (Read and Write)
Passport Compulsory (Can apply during course)
LMV license Compulsory/ HMV preferred
Training for LMV
