How we got here
Development and growth
IESP began with a focus on developing work-ready skills for aviation and service roles. Its operations subsequently expanded into specialised training and a network of centres across Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka. The organisation also developed courses for corporate clients and overseas recruitment support.
Foundation
Institute for Excellence in Services & Planning was started as part of Airawat Group. The idea was simple. Take students from Mumbai and the districts around it. Train them to the standard the industry tests, and get them hired.
Regional centres
Over the next years we opened down the Konkan. First the Mumbai head office at Marol Naka, then the Khalapur centre at Sajgaon, then Roha, Alibag and Goa. No big national institute has opened on this stretch. It means a student from Raigad can train without moving to Mumbai. For many of our students, that is the only reason they could join. Later came a campus at BES College in Bengaluru.
Corporate services
IndiGo, Air India, Akasa Air, Nepal Airlines, Swissport, Asian Heart Institute and the Traffic Control Branch in Mumbai have all taken IESP-trained staff. Vistara, Air India SATS, AISATS, Taj Air, Saudia and Bhutan Airlines have brought our trainers in to teach the staff they already employ. Those calls get returned because batch after batch turned out to be worth hiring.
Training expansion
Across airlines, ground handling companies, airports and hospitals, in India and abroad. Our group has also had 1,350 staff of its own at airports and hospitals, on its own payroll. Few training institutes can say that. See where they work →
