Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data IESP collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, how we protect it, and the rights you have. It applies to this website, our WhatsApp number, our chat assistant, phone calls and enquiry forms.
Effective 22 October 2026Last updated 22 October 2026
1. Who we are
Institute for Excellence in Services & Planning Pvt. Ltd. ("IESP", "we", "us") is part of Airawat Group. Our head office is at Unit 61, 2nd Floor, Sanjay Building No. 1, Ajay Mittal Industrial Estate, Marol Naka, Andheri East, Mumbai 400059, Maharashtra, India.
IESP decides why and how your personal data is used. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, this makes us the "Data Fiduciary", and you are the "Data Principal".
This policy follows the Information Technology Act, 2000 (section 43A) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. It also follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, as their provisions come into force.
2. What we collect and why
We collect only what we need to answer you, guide you and run our courses.
| Data | Where it comes from | Why we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Name and mobile number | Enquiry form, WhatsApp, phone call, chat | To reply to you and call you back about your enquiry |
| Course and centre you are interested in, and your town | Enquiry form, WhatsApp, chat | To suggest the right course and the nearest centre |
| Your 10th and 12th result, and your age | You tell us | To check if you meet the entry rules for a course |
| WhatsApp name, profile photo (if public), messages and files you send | To answer your questions and keep a record of what we told you | |
| Call details and notes, and call recordings where we tell you at the start of the call | Phone | To follow up, and to train our counsellors |
| Messages you type in the chat assistant, and the page you were on | Chat assistant, when it is switched on | To answer your questions and improve the answers |
| Documents and details you give at admission | Admission forms, at a centre | To admit you, run your course and keep records the law requires |
| Device and browser type, rough location from your IP address, pages you view, time on the site, and the site you came from | Cookies and similar tools, only if you accept them | To count visits, improve the site, measure our ads and show you IESP ads on other sites |
We do not ask for bank, card or Aadhaar details, passwords, or medical records on this website, on WhatsApp or in the chat. Please do not send them there. If a course ever needs health or other sensitive information, we will ask for it at a centre and take your written consent first.
3. Why we are allowed to use your data
- Your consent. For example, when you accept cookies or ask us to contact you.
- Data you give us for a purpose. When you send us your details to ask about a course, we use them for that enquiry, unless you tell us to stop.
- The law. When a law, court or government body requires us to keep or share data.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page, reply STOP on WhatsApp, or email us at info@iesp.co.in (section 11). Withdrawing does not affect what we did before. If you withdraw, we may not be able to answer your enquiry or continue your admission.
4. Cookies, analytics and ads
When you first visit, all analytics and advertising cookies are off. A notice asks if you accept them. They switch on only if you tap Accept. If you tap No thanks, the site works the same.
If you accept, we use:
- Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages and buttons are used.
- Google Ads tags, to measure whether an ad led to an enquiry, and to show IESP ads again to people who visited our site. This is called retargeting or remarketing.
These tools set cookies and send your browser details and activity on our pages to Google. Google follows our instructions for this, and also its own privacy policy. We use this only for ads about IESP courses. We do not use your WhatsApp messages or calls for ads.
To change your choice:
- Tap "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page, then choose again.
- Clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
- Turn off personalised ads in your Google account at adssettings.google.com.
- On your phone, reset or limit your advertising ID in the device settings.
5. Students under 18
If you are under 18, please ask your parent or guardian to contact us for you. Before we use the personal data of anyone under 18 for admission, we take the consent of a parent or guardian and check that they are an adult. We do not track or monitor the behaviour of children, and we do not target ads at anyone under 18. If we learn that we hold data of a child without a parent's consent, we will delete it.
6. WhatsApp and the chat assistant
WhatsApp is run by Meta. Messages with us pass through WhatsApp and follow WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. Our counselling team, and the systems that help us reply, can read what you send. You can stop at any time by sending STOP.
The chat assistant on this website, when it is switched on, gives automatic answers from information IESP has approved. It is software, not a person, and it does not decide your admission. If it cannot help, it passes you to a counsellor. Do not type sensitive information into it.
7. Who we share your data with
- Our staff: counsellors, admissions and centre teams who need it to help you.
- Service providers who work for us: website hosting, WhatsApp and messaging, customer records and call systems, analytics and advertising (Google), and IT support. They may use your data only to provide their service to us, under a contract that requires them to protect it.
- Employers and recruiters, only if you ask us to put you forward for a job, and only what the application needs.
- Government, courts or regulators, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data. Some of our service providers store data on servers outside India, including in the United States. We transfer data abroad only as Indian law allows, and we will follow any restriction the Government of India sets.
8. How long we keep your data
- Enquiry details: while we are talking to you, and up to 24 months after our last contact. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
- Admission and course records: for as long as the law requires.
- Records of how data was processed (logs): at least one year, as the law requires.
- Analytics and advertising cookies: until they expire, usually within 13 months, or until you clear them.
After that, we delete the data or make it anonymous, unless a law requires us to keep it.
9. How we protect your data
We follow reasonable security practices, as Indian law requires. These include:
- this website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection;
- only staff who need your data can see it;
- we keep logs of access to our systems;
- our service providers must protect your data under their contracts with us.
No system is completely safe. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you without delay, in plain language, and tell you what you can do. We will also report it to the Data Protection Board of India and to CERT-In, as the law requires.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you, how we use it, and who we have shared it with;
- correct, complete or update it;
- delete it, unless we must keep it by law or still need it for the purpose you gave it for;
- stop using it for ads, or withdraw a consent you gave;
- name another person to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act yourself;
- handle a complaint about how we used your data.
To make a request, email info@iesp.co.in (section 11). Tell us your name and the mobile number you used with us, so we can find your records. We may ask you to confirm who you are. We will reply within 30 days.
11. Questions and requests
For any query, request or complaint about your personal data, email info@iesp.co.in.
We will resolve your complaint within one month of receiving it. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, once its complaint process applies to your case.
12. What we ask of you
Please give us true and complete information. Do not use another person's details or pretend to be someone else. Do not make a false or frivolous complaint. These are your duties under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
13. Languages
This policy is in English. If you would like to read it in Marathi, Hindi or any other language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India, email info@iesp.co.in and we will provide it.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you before it applies.
