Questions students ask

What is the height requirement for cabin crew in India?

To join this course we ask for 5 ft 7 in, which is 174 cm, for men. For women it is 5 ft 3 in, which is 162 cm. Where the airline asks for it, weight has to be proportionate to height. The airline then runs its own check at interview, including an arm reach test of roughly 212 cm on tiptoe. The reach test is a safety rule, because crew have to be able to reach the emergency equipment above the seats.

Can I become cabin crew after 12th?

Yes. A 12th pass in any stream is the requirement, and you do not need to have studied science or commerce. We take students aged 18 to 28 on this course. If you are appearing for 12th this year you can start counselling now and enrol once your result is out.

Is placement guaranteed?

No. Admission to a course does not guarantee an offer of employment. The admissions team can explain the assistance available for the selected course.

My English is not strong. Should I still apply?

Come and talk to us. English is assessed at every airline interview, so we teach it as a full subject. In the first meeting we will tell you honestly how far you are from the standard. We will also tell you how long it takes.

What if I am not selected by any airline?

You stay on our active list, you are called for the next campus drive, and you can retake the interview preparation module again. You can also move across to airport ground handling, cargo or ramp roles. They hire in much larger numbers and have different entry rules.
