Healthcare jobs after 12th: questions answered
Not every hospital job needs a medical degree. Answers on patient care and ward support work, our healthcare management course, and working abroad.
The course
Hospital work without a medical degree
Can I work in a hospital without NEET?
Yes, in support roles. NEET is the entrance test for medical degrees such as MBBS. Our healthcare management course asks for a 12th pass and an age of 18 and above, not a NEET score.
How long is the healthcare management course?
Five months.
Is this a hospital management degree?
No. It is a five-month certificate course for patient care and ward support roles, not a degree in hospital administration.
Can I study hospital administration after 12th?
Universities offer degrees in hospital administration. Our course is different: a shorter certificate that trains you for patient care and ward support work in a hospital.
Where is the healthcare course taught?
At our Mumbai, Roha, Alibag and Goa centres, and in Bengaluru. See all centres.
Jobs
Jobs, work abroad and what is promised
What jobs can I get after a healthcare management course?
Hospital patient care and ward support work. From there you can move to ICU support, dialysis, and old age and home care.
Can I work abroad after the healthcare course?
Our international recruitment desk places healthcare candidates abroad. Work abroad is subject to employer, qualification and regulatory requirements.
Do I need experience before working in the Gulf?
Gulf roles usually ask for one to two years of experience first, so most of our students go through a domestic job before they apply.
Is a hospital job guaranteed after the course?
No. Admission to a course does not guarantee an offer of employment. The admissions team can explain the assistance available for the selected course.
